Forrester Wood is a long-established, independent ingredient manufacturer with in-house technical support and unparalleled levels of customer service. 

Flavour creation is very much a craft, relying on the experience of the skilled flavourist. This expertise, coupled with a strong commitment to service and quality, mean that Forrester Wood has developed a loyal and varied customer base, ranging from small sole traders to multi-national corporations.

Our flexibility, renowned customer service and extensive product range ensure we are in a position to meet the diverse needs of the modern manufacturer.  

We operate from a single site in Oldham, Greater Manchester, which has manufacturing, office and laboratory facilities. The latter enables us to provide analytical testing and matching facilities for a wide range of products.

All raw materials and finished goods are thoroughly tested to meet strict standards, with quality control carried out by skilled technicians.

We maintain stocks of all regular product lines, which together with the factory’s proximity to the M60 and national motorway network, ensures a fast and efficient delivery service.

In the intervening years the company has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the most widely respected suppliers of flavourings and colours in the UK.

At the time of the company’s inception, the original founding directors operated from a small, self-contained unit within a soft drinks factory in Hyde, Greater Manchester.

The early success of the venture necessitated a move to larger premises and the company was located in Moston, North Manchester for a number of years.

The final stage of Forrester Wood’s development came with a move to today’s purpose-built factory in Hollinwood, which houses manufacturing, laboratory and office facilities.
